I am so, so sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. She definitely was way too young to pass. Hard to find the answers to "why". I too absolutely love the quilt you have made in her memory. I know the family will treasure it always.

I would love to know how to make one of these. I have no clue how to begin. I would love to make one of my mom and dad who have both passed away now. Did you follow a pattern or tutorial? How big did this quilt end up being? Wall hanging size? Thank you so much for any info you can give me. Again, I am sorry fo your loss.
