    Falling Diamonds

Yesterday I posted a picture of a truck quilt that I made for my youngest grandson; well, he has an older sister (3 years old) that needed a quilt also. I knew I wanted to make one in bright colors and was thrilled when I saw the table runner, Falling Diamonds, in the Spring 2013 Modern Quilts Unlimited magazine. I added enough blocks to make a twin size. Kimber, my granddaughter and owner of the quilt, helped me by placing the blocks on the design wall.

Oh that's absolutely beautiful it's so happy and bright, also the ribbon style quilting is perfect. You did a great job on both of your grand children's quilts! BTW your little helper is absolutely adorable maybe she'll want to be a quilter like grandma.

Well I second the beautiful, bright, colorful, fun quilt. Your granddaughter is just precious and the picture is priceless. She will love this picture when she gets older. Good going Grandma. BrendaK
