Why, of course Butteryflyspain! It sure is pretty! Tute on! Looks a little out of my league, but there are some talented sewers (is that right?!!) on this forum!

It would be great to have a tutorial on this. I've made a chenille vest before, but not a purse yet. We're waiting

Very nice, Ellie. I took a workshop on chenille through my quilt guild this winter. Bought the special cutting tool and all ...... So, I know the basics on how to chenille fabric. Now, the thing I need is ideas on what to do w/ the fabric once it is chenilled, since I do not care to make quilts using this method. I really like your purse. Is that a pattern that can be shared? If so, I'd love it. Nita

The pattern I have is for a rug. They took 4 layers of a floral print, with the matched up on all layers. Then they put a binding on it and chenilled on the diagonal. It looked really pretty in the book.

There were also chenilled pillows in the book.
