Default Fidget quilt top

I was inspired by a recent thread. My mom's Alzheimers is much worse and she and my dad will be moving half way across the country. They are in their 90's. My thought is that she will really need one. When I recently downsized, I almost got rid of all of the bits of this n that... glad I found a spot for them. It was fun to pick out things that have meaning. The close-up pic is some non-slip fabric for baby garments that she gave for my grandkids about 25 years ago. I hope that brings back some memories for her. The purple and yellow suns is a bit of unused knitting that's been kicking around here for years.

those are great! Don't forget buttons and pipe cleaners. My students who have autism all love pipe cleaners - they're soft and fuzzy and they can be twisted into any shape imaginable. If i were adding it to a fidget quilt, I'd tack it down in the middle of the pipe cleaner allowing 2 sides to mold and play with.

Really clever. I hope it ignites some fond memories and soothing moments, however brief.

What a wonderful fidget quilt...not only did you add a lot of texture but it is bright and colorful.
