To me the last was very southwestern in appearance; I can't help but thinking of Santa Fe. The next one I've planned in monochromatic greens, in preparation for the Beyer's quilt and its purples. I basically think in a couple colors (plus), so digging into one value should be interesting. Really, I mean the pastel was fun so why shouldn't it?

I'm in the planning stage for a big dipper quilt for the nephew. Stars set against night sky fabric to make the big dipper. My mom sent a bunch of fabric that she made him Roman shades and pillows with, now it's up to me. Oh joy...

Steve:
Your big dipper quilt sounds wonderful. Make sure and share pictures when you get it together.

Steve - I'm a fellow star nut & sorry, but can't wait till you finish the big dipper to see it!!! Can you post a pic of the pattern, drawing or whatever & maybe a sample of the fabrics? That would give me my star fix for the week!!!

Excellent job! And with such contrasting colors, too!

Wow! See, I can't even gather the courage to attempt one of these babies. You may have shamed me into it. Great job Steve!
