I just finished my hex top. Its not too bad once you figure out how to put it together.

ok, I have that pattern in a smaller version, and I REALLY want to do it, espcially since my Grams gave me the pattern, but i dont get how to sew the octogons together. I assume its kind of a "trick" like with other points. Any suggestions?

Oh by the way, it is really cool. especially the colors you chose!
