What a great quilt for a little boy. I'm sure he loves it & so do all his friends. They are so special when they are unique to the child. I did a smaller version, actually, I Spy jars a number of years ago for the grandchildren. The older ones are now 6,7,8 & 9, but the youngest is just over a year now so we are still enjoying this little quilt & learning colors, shapes & so much more. Love our time playing & snuggling with this special little quilt which stays at my house.

How perfect this is for any little guy! Your DGS will enjoy this for a very long time. Only you see mistakes or something not perfect because I think it is just perfect as it is. And I am with ya about preferring to handquilt. Takes so long but worth it in the end for me. Otherwise I am ready to toss it all out the window. Great job & good job on finishing it.

I get all excited when I run across Jar quilts. I have one in the collecting stage for my grandson who will be three this september. This is adorable. I love the little creatures you've added. (btw: I think using your machine for the fmq was a stroke of genius ~ it will help it pass the grandson test; and, maybe even, the greatGrandson test!)
