It was very pressuring. I had to finish the quilt for the Joy Ranch auction before this one, and I thought I had another week before going to reception and then, boom, they moved it up a week. I had started quilting it a month ago, but put it on the back burner for the other quilt. I am taking a few days off and making my DH happy by "cleaning the house" lOL

It's beautiful quilt. Pretty butterfly print. We never know when we give a quilt whether it will be appreciated and/or liked. It's the thought that counts and a quilt is a lot of thought and a lot of love.

BTW, what is Joy Ranch? Is this someplace I should know about?

Joy Ranch is a Lutheran camp in Northern South Dakota that is handicap accessable. I posted a picture on the picture area of the quilt we made for the auction for our Synod Assembly. Not everyone would know about it since there are so many wonderful charities out there that we give to.
