Thanks for the kind words! Several years ago, we spent a week on Maui. I've always wanted to capture, in an art quilt, the incredible diversity on the island! From under the water to the top of volcanoes, and everywhere in between, I was overwhelmed with the beauty of nature. We tried very hard to stay off the beaten path that most tourists take, but that being said, we enjoyed every place we went. The most difficult part would be to pick one thing to represent, or I'd end up with a quilt too big to hang anywhere!

Some of my husbands family live in Page, AZ where Lake Powell is located. We visit there about every 4 years. You have done a great job on this landscape of Lake Powell.
