What a beautiful quilt! The colors are gorgeous. I like the wavy or curvy idea for the quilting, to give movement to the blocks.

How about one large double heart surrounded by stippling and smaller hearts. It is a beautiful quilt and she is lucky you are her mother.

[Check the lower right corner - I think one of the 4-patch units is twisted!
