First 2 quilts off the new long arm
#1
The first one I peiced together back in 1994 or 1995. I didn't know what to do with it once I finished piecing the top. I had never taken a class only watched quilting shows on tv. So, I folded it up and put it away (in a barn for several years!)
I did daisy's on the dark blue sqaures because that's what my daughter wanted. The rest I meandered.
On the second quilt I pieced this last May for my step sister who was planning on getting married then the wedding was called off. So, I folded it up and put it away. This week I added the brown polka dot border and quilted it. I outlined the flowers and then tightly meandered in the floral block. The rest was I did a bigger meander.

First large quilt ever pieced I thought it was only right that it be my first quilt I worked on the long arm

I thought I bought enough for backing but didn't. I used the extra fabric I had purchased for audition fabric for the border on the front to add width and length

free motion daisy - I think I might have a hard time following a line on a paper pattern I will have to work up to that I guess

I pieced this quilt May 2010 and added the border this week

I bought enough fabric but then decided that a bright red strip would add some zip to the backing

Now you won't have to fold them up and store those tops away...just get 'em quilted!!!
