I used to think the same thing. I took a class and the instructor said that when you are doing the micro...adjust your stitch length down to about 1.5. That did the trick...now I can zoom around with the tiny things looking smooth. It does take a little practice though. I just love what you did with yours..I'm gonna have to tackle a small one.

How beautiful! Could we see a close up? I don't know what you mean by microstitching. I think I can figure it out, but I still would like to see a close up!

I will try a close up tomorrow with day light. It is hard to do without the sheen of the fabric reflecting back. It is not cotton, but satin and very shinny. Microstitching is making the quilting designs very close together with very short stitches. Thanks for looking.

Bernina stitch Regulator. It controls the speed the needle moves by "reading" the speed the fabric is moving at when free motion quilting.
