I thank you all for your too kind words. Like I said---if you don't look too closely you can't see all the problems. Things like that stupid inset road just kicked my butt! Why I decided I had the skill set to tackle that I'll never know. I should have just appliqued it like everything else. And speaking of appliques, I think that is another thing that really bothered me about this quilt. It didn't seem to have a rhyme or reason---just cut out pieces sewn all over the place...Sigh.....
Oh well # 2 Christmas Quilt now finished and post to follow on it.

It looks great and I am sure you are like so many of we fellow quilters... you are guilty of looking tooooo closely! You have read the post of the person galloping by at a fast speed on a horse who can't see anything wrong with the quilt.
