I just scrolled through all this and realized to my horror that I hadn't yet added my CONGRATULATIONS for a beautiful "& almost unbearably brilliant" granddaughter! The quilt does her justice! It's so charming and with the talent of her G&G that makes it doubly so!

Congratulations on becoming a Grandma. It's a wonderful place in life to be. Your quilt is soooo cute. I'm sure she will treasure it as she grows up knowing that you made it just for her.

How did you do the label? It looks embroidered. I'm trying to figure out how to do something similar for my grand daugher's quilt.

I recently got a machine that embroiders but haven't learned to use that feature yet. Your label really inspires me to spend some time exploring what it can do.
