Love the quilt. I am a sucker for black, white and red.

Thanks for the idea of red in there (SouthPStitches also suggested red or another color for another quilt I am going to do for the oldest daughter)- I will be trying to make the youngest DD and her hubby a black n white quilt (they would like old Hollywood as they are film buffs). I am going to look for film material when I start it, they have to decide what type of block they want as they are very minimalist in their style.

Very nice quilt by the way .. good job !!

what did you use for batting? Did you cut your batting blocks and batting blocks the same size so the batting was stitched into the seams?

Hi Delores,
I didn't use batting in this one, just two layers of flannel. Next time I will use batting for mine, because I want it to be heavier (and I am going to have to research how to do it, lol).
Although this is not for DH, he liked the weight of it because he likes to throw a blanket over his head when he naps on the chair.

I've never even bothered to look up the Go! Cutter before. I've seen a lot of you talk about it.

I'M RUINED! I'm not going to be happy until I get the cutter and the rag die. I'm on my 3rd rag quilt, although mine are width of fabric rags. I hate the snipping. And I've got to repair one strip that I messed up.

I've also got fabric for a rag quilt for my younger DD, but I've been dreading the snipping.

And Christmas and birthdays are past. Darn it.
