I just choose the fabric. Remember at the beginning of the thread, I said extreme light to dark? Then I just picked the colors that would compliment each other. In my head, I am using the color wheel and taking a lot of licence with my choices lol.

I finished two corners and sewed them on the quilt. I am going to sew some tonight. If I get done, a pic will be up..later.

Thank you ladies, I am so happy to share with you the progress of this quilt. I have finished three corners so far and only need a half of a block to finish the last corner, then I will take a pic and post and then it will be on to stage 5.

Gosh, my sewing friends think I'm brave for doing intricate designs but you've got me beat by a long shot. Having to figure out and make your own paper piecing pattern? Fabulous! I love color and design. There are no words to adequately describe the beauty of your quilt in progress. You go girl! And be sure to put it in a quilt contest/show.

Thank you for the lovely comments. You know? I have never put any of my quilts in a contest or show. Mainly because they just have too many rules to suit me, reminds me of the quilt police lol. I don't put labels on my quilts. I machine sew my bindings and if one little area is off, it's just off and as long as it is sewed, it is ok with me. Another things is, I hear that the front of the binding has to be the same size as the back.

I just sign and date them and that should be enough. I guess I am too rebellious lol.

    Default Pineapple Diamond

I finished the four corners. This is stage 4. Stage 5 is the border of more diamonds and half sq pineapple blocks.

Ok, I just gave this quilt a good think. If you go to the beginning of the thread, you will see that the quilt has a border of more diamond pineapples and half square pineapples. I have had enough lol. I am leaving the quilt just the way it is now. I will put a deep green 1 1/2 inch border, quilt it and bind it with purple.

The quilt will end up being 79x79 more or less after everything is done. I am calling this quilt done.

I started this quilt Jan 6th and finished it Feb 9th.
