You will NEVER believe how I made the scallops!
What I did was...
1. cut strip fabric 3 1/2 inches wide.
2. turned it right sides together (sprayed a little starch) and ironed it in half long ways
3. Took the top to my starch can..YES, TOP OF CAN and marked half circles on the fabric with a marker.
4. sewed along marked line
5. cut EACH 1/2 circle out and trimmed edges
6. turned right side out and starched each one very well so they were almost stiff.
7. measured the sides of quilt and then marked it off on my ironing board. Yes, I marked on my ironing board.
8. Layed out each piece, overlapping just a litte to get the correct length.
9. pinned all the overlaps and sewed them 1/4 inch seam
10. placed on quilt sandwich and voila!

Now, STOP LAUGHING about me using the top to my spray starch!!!!

Thanks!
I just did the one and that turned into 4. lol
THere was alot of empty space and I wanted to fill it, so thought of doing what I did to the corners. Don't know if any are made that way, but I'm sure there are. I just surprised myself with how pretty it came out.
