    I think it's pretty smart the way you did the scallops - makes perfect sense!! And, you didn't need to buy a special template either!

    Terri that is REALLY pretty - and I was wondering if it was for kwhite as well! LOL The backing is sooo cute! As for using your can lid - I only the other day used a pin pot to trace a scallop for quilting lines on a mini quilt I'm making! Use what you've got I say - it's what our foremothers would've done - they didn't have fancy stencils and templates!

    I searched online on how to do scalloped edges. Only found places that you needed a template for. Nope, not buying one, so I just started playing around with what I had and the best thing I found was the top to the spray starch! I was actually amazed I still had it. It's usually lost in my room or it's tossed in the trash.

    Terri, it's beautiful. Love the scalloped borders. I love the mini purple daisy fabric you have on the back. I have a yard or two of that in pink, blue and purple!!!
