What a lovely find. My sister and I went to some thrift stores this past summer, she kept finding crochet blankets, and decided she didn't want to make any more. Wouldn't like to see them there, she also wanted to buy them all! She did get some!

Absolutely true - I recently won 4 sort of stack & whack blocks at a guild meeting and the fabrics are so similar it's like the same person made both to coordinate with each other. I love it, you were so lucky, I agree it's very happy and should make you smile every time you see it. You have to wonder about the kind of person who would just dump this at a thrift shop.

I love it.

All the thrft storesn our area have gone
crazy on their pricing.

Nothing is cheap.

Some pirces are almost retail.

Theywould have charges $30. or more here for it.

I always worry when I see a post like this that it will be a quilt I gifted. If it ever is I hope someone like you ends up with it!

THat's a beautiful, bright, cheery quilt! I, too, have rescued quilts from thrift stores...4 so far. Sad to see all that handiwork turn up in a thrift store! But they are home safe with me, now and will be loved and taken care of!
