You just can't beat that price....My DH went to a garage sale a few years ago. there was a Torro lawn mower sitting there. Free, needs work. He said what's wrong with it and the lady said it won't start. so he brought it home and changed the spark plug and cleaned the connections. runs like a top. been using it for several years. Sometimes people think it's better to throw something away and go buy a new one. Lucky us, lucky you.

Wow I wish I had found a find like that. My brother 3500 is dead. The repair guy said that mine had a lot of plastic parts and brother does not have many if any replacement parts. Yours looks older and should be full of metal parts. Take care of her and she will take of you. K

Ever notice that the tension "problems" people talk about often are issues like trying to pull the fabric through the machine and full speed ahead and if you clean and oil and replace the needle and guide the fabrics through there are no problems? I find that most often it is the needle --- God forbid anyone actually replace a needle more than once every five years or so. LOL

Here is an example of the quilt tops I bought at a yard sale last Saturday for $10 each. I bought ten of them.
