HUGE difference......for the GOOD! What was unique about this book? I have the tutorials by Patsy Thompson......is this method different? I keep "looking" at ways to do it, but so far have been chicken.

really like what you have done ... especially the idea of using a line on the block for the "stem" ... makes life easier, since I tend to do feathers in one direction better than another. <wave>

With these feathers you do not have to go back over a line anywhere so I think they are neater - and the book is a treasure of creative bits and very easy to follow. Also if they are not uniform it doesnt matter - they still look good. I have been trying other ideas from the book this afternoon - but the basic method is the same. And unlike other ways I've tried I found it much more relaxing..no teeth grinding or breath holding! Have a look at the reviews on Amazon - they are good.

Here is a tutorial ... part of not wanting to try feathers is not understanding the basic motion, where to start, etc .... this tutorial helps take a lot of mystery out of doing feathers. We will be looking forward to your success! <wave>
