You were off by how much??? Guess you don't fudge much when you sew then do you-lol.
I have so little quilting time that if I ripped out when things weren't perfect I would never get anything done.
But it is good to have people like you around-they force people like me to pay attention more when I am doing something for someone other than myself.

Nice job on both blocks!! I like the white background the best. Keep up the good work.

Thanks again. Well I am off with kids and grandkids to the onion festival and fireworks and street dance so maybe I will sleep tonight if I do not pick up sewing when I get home. Have fun with whatever everyone has planned for tonight and I will touch base later ladies. Woo Hoo some fun fun fun tonight.

I like the designed fabric instead of plain black or white. I think just changing the design size of one of the fabrics would look awesome. For example I have a fabric with black background and tiny white stars that might look nice. I really like the 'movement' with 2 designs, it's definately interesting and not boring.

You need more contrast. The two prints have the same value and are muddied together. A slolid black would go much better or even a darker value of a black print where most was black. You'd be able to see the points better that way and the star would pop out more

I like both, but............the star really pops with the white background (at least to me). Keep us posted.
