I love that fabric and your quilt. Yes, it does look like a sunset. That's probably why I like it. Great job on the quilting, too.

I'm still curious about just exactly what part of that quilt was "ugly" fabric. k3n nailed it - it is not a quilt - it's ART!

I could see this in a landscape quilt...sky, dark horizon line/mountains, and maybe a bit of lake toward the front with some of the orange reflection of the setting sun...

Right! I guess ugly is also in the eye of the beholder.

Right! I guess ugly is also in the eye of the beholder.
And... when I picked this out of a box, it was a horid, wadded up, wrinkled mess! That certainly didn't make it very attractive...
