I love to go to yard sales, sometimes it does good to talk to the people, if they find out you quilt, they will come off their prices. I have had them go into their house and bring out material, thinking no one would want to buy it. LOL

This is one of those "once in a lifetime" finds.
About 10 years ago, at a flea market, I found a garbage bag packed full of fabrics for $5. It took weeks to wash and iron all of it. In the end, I had over 55 yards of usable fabric. that was the start of my quilting adventure. I knew nothing about how to make a quilt and found a 9 patch block in a magazine and made loads of them. Since then, I have made lots of different patterns. That was my "one BIG FIND" and a great encouragement.
Keep looking! There may be 2 in a lifetime finds!
