Great time spent with your granddaughter. The combined effort is something she will always remember.

You are so blessed. I am jealous that your granddaughter lives close enough that you can introduce her to quilting. And to do it together is so special. Ours live across the country, east and west and north, so only see them a couple times a year at our house. With the entire family here there is no time to sew : ( The memories and craft you share will last a lifetime.

What a beautiful quilt!
That first picture says it all. A very proud girl who I have a feeling is a budding quilter. And she's cute as can be.
Those memories will last her whole life. Bravo, Grandma!

She has a natural talent for color and design. I'd love to see what she could do with my eclectic stash. haha What a memorable experience for both of you.

Your grandaughters quilt is beautiful, she did an excellent job on picking the backing out too. You're so lucky to have a granddaughter that you can teach to quilt. Enjoy every moment you get to spend with her.
