I love your quilt! Bright, cheerful, interesting! I remember the "matchy matchy" days and home sewn school clothes and all the "rules" about colors! My mother would not approve, either, but I think it is wonderful and charming.

Thanks everyone! I am learning to stretch my capabilities. I was an apparel sewer from childhood, and have only been quilting for less than 5 years. It has been so much fun embarking on this new journey, of color and shape. I guess that's why I bought that jelly roll. I am just now getting myself to go beyond the "safe". And having the QB for support is an ego boosting experience. I love watching how we all interpret fabric in a different way, but end up with the same exciting result, a beautiful quilt (or work of art).
