That is BEAUTIFUL!!! My grandmother made one like that when I was a kid and told me first one(me or my brother) to get married they would get it. I got married before my brother so I got it. But she made him one when he got married.

Your Grandmother's flower garden is absolutely beautiful! I just love it! I am working on hand quilting Grandmother's flower garden with 1930's fabric. Thanks for sharing.

It is just beautiful. I started a grandmothers flower garden about 30 years ago and have not finished it. Made and finished my first quilt this year but that one was machine stiched and quilted. After seeing yours and how beautiful it turned out, I am anxious to take out the pieces for my grandmothers flower garden that I have done and try to finish it. That one I was doing by hand too.

I love how you framed each "flower" in green, very pretty.

This lovely quilt is even better because of the memories you have over the years. Good job. I am afraid at my age, I will not have enough years left for any UFO's. :)

How fantastic your quilt is!
My firend is starting one like yours and I just started hand piecing the hexagons with mixed scraps of batiks, in no planned manner.
Your quilt is inspiring!
