What a beautiful quilt! I love the colours. I haven't ventured into the world of hand-piecing yet but maybe someday. You did a wonderful job!

It's a real beauty. I think 7 months is amazing progress, these can take years (wonder how I know that!). Stunning colour combination and very nice border idea...what more can I say!

Beautiful. I have one I have been working on about 3 years. I work on it a while and get tired of it so I put it away again. Now I want to get it out and finish it.

Breathtaking!!!!!!!! Are the hexs appliqued to a large fabric or on squares?
I made 2 placemats and I agree it ia a great take along project.

All I can say is WOW! I would have never thought to make that pattern in 2 colours. It is simply stunning. I am going to consider doing one like yours when I finish the one I am making from scraps. Beautiful work on the hand piecing.

The hexs are not appliqued to anything ---- the whole quilt top is made up of hexagons (and some diamonds along the edges) - I know it is hard to tell because of the way I quilted it. Most GFG quilts are stitched in the ditch outling each hexagon and making them easier to see. I'm glad you like it!
