Like everyone else, I love your quilt and quilting. I’m particularly impressed with the fact that the surface looks so smooth. Do you have any hints for how to make the heavily quilted areas lie as flat as the more simple areas? I would have thought that the denser areas would have made those squares quite a bit tighter/smaller than the other ones. Did you do dense basting? That is probably a dumb question, because if you used a long arm machine you wouldn’t had to baste?
