what a great idea. I love what you have done. Think what it would be like to do a series using all the letters in the alphabet. So many ideas so little time.

Interesting design. I don't think I've seen one of those before.

I had never seen it either, just the regular H block. I believe this is called tessellated? It is Daffy's original.

Ok, I have started to make it longer first. The narrow strip across the top of the board is the quilt folded just to show the bottom so I can match it with the extension. I think I will make it 20 inches or more to about 70 to 75 long and the same width.

I have dug around for more scraps have been cutting and placing. I am going to sew the first row to make sure it matches, then I will sew in rows and section again as I did before.

LOVE it Am glad I found this thread. My granddaughter's name is Hayden, she might just think this is cool for her. Just wondering, are you going to cut your quilt on the diagonal to get it looking more like the original? Does that even make sense?? Thanks for all of your info

NO, I like it this way. My maiden name is Holder, maybe that's why I wanted to make it too lol.

I have finished the lower half of the H quilt and half the top side extension. The bottom half of the side extension is placed and will sew that tomorrow.

You can see the top half of the quilt. I have it folded over so I can have the right side exposed to work with. I do it this way because of space, the board isn't big enough. Once I finish that side. I will do the other side the same way and the quilt will be a good 80x75 more or less.

This quilt is good for your mind hahahaha, it make you think.
