I think it's very pretty. Hopefully when it's totally finished you will get a warmer response.

It's stunning...I love the colors, love the pattern...just love it...Maybe they are just overwhelmed at the thought of all the work you put in it and they don't know what to say...

I think you did a great job! Too bad they can 't appreciate the work that goes into a hand quilted project. We other quilters do though!

why I think they're not keen on it: no enthusiasm in response to seeing it on their bed.

not like it? well, some people don't appreciate all the work that goes into quilting. or maybe it is the colors. don't fret, just finish it and give it to them. then go onto other people and dont' go back. it's lovely!!

I totally agree, its' wonderful. I think we tend to think anything we make is not good enough. STOP, it is just beautiful and if they don't appreciate it, that is their choice.

I really like your quilt. I did notice another member said she will gladly take this quilt. What a bummer I wanted to say I'll take it.

Pretty quilt. I agree with the other lady that posted--I would ask your husband's brother and wife if they preferred other colors, and I will keep that quilt for myself, and make them another one. I would definitely not hand quilt the one I gave them. Quilters know all the time, effort, and LOVE that goes into quilts, but not everyone knows or appreciates quilts like quilters do.
