Amazing! No wonder it's taking you a while to do, the quilting is beautiful. I hope that your brother will treasure it.

I always love that pattern. I saw it in a Fons and Porter book, but it would take me years to get up the nerve to try that!!

Couldn't pass up the chance of adding my congrats on a beautiful quilt. Piecing looks wonderful and the hand quilting is out of this world. Wow - guess I will get back to practicing now that I have been reinspired.! Thanks for sharing.

I am so amazed...this is gorgeous. I love hand quilting and that is all I do. The love with each stitch is felt when looking or touching the quilt. I am working on a Dresden Plate quilt in all black and white for my sister. It will be a queen size...I am still stitching the plates together..I will have 30 of them. I will have to find a hand quilting design that will suit the Dresden Plate design...I have not found one yet. The squares will be 14 inches before seams.
Gorgeous quilt.

This is wonderful and the colors are so beautiful. It's hard to find enough adjectives to describe this.
