I'm new at hand quilting and have a wonderful teacher; she's 80+, but enjoys life like she's 20. I'm now just learning how to piece and I love the hand work. If quilter's such as yourself continue, hand quilting will never go away. I'm new to the Quilting Board and glad I found you.

LOTS of folks who are blogging from Australia, UK, and US are doing handwork. I have a blog with a list on the side and when you go to one blog, you click on another... so many are doing the flower gardens, etc. www.cumberlandislandquiltchick.com
look on the side of my place. I know Valentina's Corner and so many... have fun!

I love to hand quilt and to hand applique. I always have one project of handwork going....but I enjoy the machine applique and FMQ on my domestic machine also. I find all quilting techniques so enjoyable. But I do agree that there should be catagories for each technique. What stunning quilting you do! Just beautiful! :D

The beautiful handquilting you and Borntohandquilt and others do will never be matched by machine quilting. There is much more talent in the hand quilting-----------just my opinion!
