Thank you, bamamama!! No, PP is not necessary at all with these blocks! Simply add a scrap to your corner by sewing them each at different angles and you'll have a wonky snowball. Turn them so angles are opposing each other for a truly wonky look! I first drew some blocks of how I wanted them to look and meet each other, but after awhile, I abandoned that idea and just made sure I sewed them on at different angles. I stopped counting at 8 different ways I figured a WSB could be made and a plan wasn't necessary. However, all light snowballs didn't look right so I had to throw in some dark snowballs with light corners to keep it interesting. This is a great block to use up small pieces of scraps if you have them! Plus, I love snowballs anyway and wanted a round type shape to contrast with the sharp points of the stars. Hope yours turn out great!! Give it a try and you'll love it!
    :-D :-D

p.s. Thanks everyone so much for your wonderful compliments! ;)

Fabulous, I love it! Scrappies are my all time favorite, I just made a stack n whack with only 2 fabrics, if the blocks hadn't been so varied looking I would have died of boredom. Great job, the wonky snowballs make the border perfect.
