I am 71 yrs old. I can remember seeing one like this when I was a child. It was probably in South Georgia at a great aunt's house, at a farm, in the country.

Yes, my grandmother had one similar to that. Oh, the sweet memories it brings back. I can see her sitting in the upstairs room sewing away.

We made a memory quilt for for our 150th anniversary at church and borrowed a quilt rack to do it. It was exactly like this. It had belonged to the mother of one of the parishioners and has since been copied twice, one of which
is being used at the church for our projects.

My father made me a frame a little like this, lost in a move, unfortunately. He made it from beautiful cherry wood discarded when the bank he worked in redecorated their board room. He died in 1992, but was pleased to see several quilts done on his frame.

Love it. Even my husband could make it (maybe even me). Wish I would have seen it before I invested in what I have

I love this, simple but perfectly workable.

My Dad made one similar for my mother. He passed away 12 years ago. My last trip home my mother gave me the last unfinished quilt home for me to finish. At 88 she doen't have the patience to quilt anymore.
