Thanks Jackie..I thought about what you said and you know much better than me about the thread color. I think I'll do just what you said...use a solid ivory for the stippling...then I'll save the varigated for either another area or another project all together. Thank you! I could have really messed up!

I'm still plugging away and here is what I'm doing to the inside of the feathered hearts...now...what do I do to the outside??? More of the same??? That small or larger stipples? All opinions welcome please!!

This is the back...monofilament in the bobbin..it stopped the dotties on the front

Patti, that looks perfect....It really makes the heart pop, doesn't it, so I suppose you need to have an equal amount of quilting on the outside to balance it...Now what about some close echo quilting radiating out from the heart?? :D

Oh STOP IT!! You are making me blush big time!!! :oops: :oops: And here I am begging for advice :wink: And about Puddin'..yes, the quilt is covered...actually covered in cat hair. DH says he doesn't care..his quilt...his cat.. :roll:
