What a wonderful Bounty! I am Scot, Welsh, Irish, Scandiavian, and one Persian. Do you have the berserker tendency too? Don't touch my sewing scissors! Lol!

What great fun you'll have with those goodies...along with good memories of a new friend. Win-win.

Well spotted, yes it's the 6500. I've had it 2 years and still love it. It's such a luxury after 30+ years using a mechanical Singer with only 5 stitches. The (wo)man who invented the thread cutter and needle down should get a medal lol.

Our mains voltage is 240, and I believe yours is around 220? Theres no obvious electrical modifications - just a standard lead and plug, no transformer. If there is a transformer it must be built in on the inside....

Cheers, Kate

Quick quote from my husband - I wanted some scissors but I didn't touch yours in case I got a row!

I did reassure him that there was only ONE pair of scissors I was precious about. But if he touched them he'd have to buy me a new pair...... Lol

Cheers, K
