I like the hearts going all the same but after reading about matching the heats hmmm.... I guess rotating then on up and down rows

#1 is distracting to me. #2 seems to be the one I'm drawn too, but if #3 is easiest, I'd do that one. I would still pick #2 as the one I like best though. So cute! Love all the different fabrics.

Could you try one more variation? Alternate rows first with the hearts upright, then next row upside down, etc. Then you would get rows of large squares and rows of small squares ...
