Default Hip Not to be Square FINISHED!

Thanks to all who helped me through the dilemmas while making this king-sized quilt for my best friend and neighbor.

I will be taking it to her in a couple of weeks and am sooo excited!
I ended up buying more fabric to have at least 3 of each color. It's SID around all the black, then quilted in the hoop in the open spaces. It could have FMQ'd it in 1/3rd of the time as it took me to hoop and center all those blocks.

Just realized it's laying on the bed sideways.

Sideways or longways, makes no difference as it is a gorgeous quilt and you did a fabulous job on it! The colors are stunning!

All I can say is that must be one fantastic friend! She is so lucky to have you and that quilt is scrumptious!!!! Beautifully quilted and pieced...could be a "Show stopper!".
