I named my DP "Grandmother's China left on the Trail" in honor of all those women and their sacrifices moving west. I don't mean dishonor to anyone, these were just my thoughts at the time the quilt was named. I hope it reminds you of your ancestors and their struggles, whatever and wherever, they were.

Absolutely beautiful. I just received my family tree from my 81 year old Aunt (who still works full time for a plumbing company). It shows that I am related to the founder of Ryder Trucks and also John Adams and John Quincy Adams. This quilt portrays the sacrifices made by many in our past.
