I bet if you ironed it, it would look perfect.

I love learning the different forms of expression from different places. I love languages. No need for you to worry!

    LOL
Don't worry about it!!! It brought a laugh from here this morning! When I see a phrase I don't understand, I immediately look to see where the person lives. LOL

Joan it really is NOT that bad, remember practice makes perfect, and trust me we all need lots of it, if you haven't got one already get yourself a 1/4" quilting foot, it has a guide which you use to ensure an even seam allowance, worked WONDERS when I first started, as I used to swing off at the end of each seam...we have all been there and done that, so don't get disheartened!!

Welsh/european for goof up or screw up, not a vulgarism, common usage there (former roommate was a brit)!

Hey--not all that bad--but I have learned that practice is the best thing to get it right. I have ripped more than sewed. Keep up the work. One day when I get good enough, I will post my work. I have learned so much from this website.

I tell you,, I had to look at this too as I thought it sounded naughty too. I cracked up laughing before I looked at it. I don't see any thing wrong with the block unless I'm not looing in the right place. Don't be hard on yourself please. We all make mistakes, that's why they put erasers on pencils. Huggies, Fay

your block is quite respectable -

funny/interesting how the same word/expression/gesture means different things in different parts of the world
