It took some time to get this finished because I've been sick. But what do you think? It is 46X59 inches. The blue trim is 1.5 inches and the brown is 3.5 inches. This is my first quilt and I am kind of learning as I go. What type of batting do I buy? I want something that is warm and can be washed in the washer. The last fabric is going to be the backing.[img]

this will be the quilt back.

It's beautiful!! I'm no batting expert. My name isn't Wanna-b for no reason, but I will say I used Warm and Natural on my second quilt and found it much more pleasant to work with than the cheaper fake fiber I used on my first quilt.

I like your quilt. That is one of my favorite blocks. I used that block to make valances for my kitchen windows.
I like warm & natural also. Have only used it for small projects that I quilt myself, but plan on using in for a king size I'm piecing now that will be send to a machine quilter.
