Bob wants his pants fixed and with my migraine (I don't function very well) takes matters into his own hands.

Excellent! (not the migrane per se...) What did hubby think of the photo session? What did he think of his sewing venture? Has he been converted?

No we'll never get him into sewing full time but he doesn't mind helping out when I have one of those nasty migraines. But you never know.

YOU LET HIM TOUCH THE MACHINE? OH MY!
Mine knows he CANNOT touch mine. If he needs to sew something, he can ask or use the other machine. lol
Kitty looks like he is supervising. :)

Kitty seems to have things monitored. You know, this is where it starts - you may want to start protecting your stash.

You better be careful! If you convert him you'll have to share your stash! Nice to see your DH sewing. My DB does all his own mending as DSIL does't know one end of a needle from the other-but boy can she cook! I don't cook-I sew

Men can be really great when we don't feel well, can't they? Maybe you can get yours to work on some UFOs while you are down? LOL

I get those terrible migraines too. Once a week lately. My DH turns off all phones and keeps the house really quiet for me.

I think a lot of it is the wintery dry air this time of year. Sinuses are a mess. I put a big pan of water in front of the fireplace to humidify the air a bit. That helps.

I couldn't believe that after I had taken every kind of pill I usually resort to, and nothing was working, I took 2 Motrin and the migraine went away!

Hope you are feeling better and get a break from the killer headaches!

:D Bravo!! Good for him--and allow his photo to be taken, too!

My son often needs jean mended--but he duck tapes them first--so I won't put them in my machine--it's a hand sew job. YUCK!

It looks like the cat has everything under control. He can't mess up your machine with such a great supervisor.

How did the pants turn out?

My hubby is a mechanical engineer, and there is NO WAY I would let him touch my sewing machine! Yikes! :D

His pants turned out perfect and he wore them to work and they held up. He was so proud of himself, today they are hunting with him. Hopefully he gets a deer, then they are going coyotes since they are bad where he is hunting today.

Bev, yes the machine is the same as yours a brother cs6000i I love it. Yesterday we were talking to someone who picked up a machine (not sure which one yet) for $8.00 and it has cards and all so it sounds like a brother embrodiery machine which i might steal off of him and his girlfriend who have know idea what they bought. I plan on looking at that machine on Monday. hehehehe 8)
