Sue, yes, Donna lives in Lagrange, IN. near Shipshewana. To take a few more quilts up to have her appraise may be a good reason to go to Shipshewanna. LOL!

Carol - it's a stunning quilt! The piecing is only outdone by the amazing quilting - WOW. Love the border treatment as well.

Curios ... why is red white blue appraised higher than other color combinations?

I don't know why, that's just what she told me as we were looking at it. Maybe next year some other "coloration" will be "more valuable".
