I used a book called Sew One and You're Done by Evelyn Sloppy but still had to do all the math to double the size of the quilt in her book (by taking off all the seam allowances, double the number and add back on the seam allowances). But now that I know how to do it (wasn't that bad) I plan on doing more of these Gigantic Block Quilts. They are really great for large prints that don't look good cut up small.

No secret. It's called Sunset by Julie Popa. You will notice that my version is quite different from hers. I have also recently made a jacket with the scraps from that quilt that is just lovely to wear and I get tons of compliments on it.

What a cool quilt. I want to start collecting these fabrics to make a graduation quilt for DH's cousin, Jenna. She is a Lucy freak!
