    Leave them blank and let the detail of the uniform tell more of the story. Its an awesome memorial.

    I would make the faces different nationalities, but leave them blank.

    I agree with everyone else, leave the faces blank. It's not the faces it's what they are carrying that should be the focal point.

    Thanks so much for the offer. But, I think I'm going to go with blank faces. I just have to find the "right fabric".

    Love this idea! Please keep posting as you get it a little more finished, so we can watch your progress. I agree with the no-faces idea and the multiple skin tones idea.
