I'm sorry you lost your precious Dolly. I know how hard it is to lose a beloved companion and friend. My heart goes out to you.

This quilt looks complete just the way it is. You have done Dolly proud. If you decide to do a shadow quilt later, you need to place a light on a box and check to see which way the shadow falls and then follow this form. Light sources come from many directions, but not usually all at once so decide where you want yours to come from.
Sorry for your lose. Charlie

Beautiful job, I like it just like it is. We lost our kitty of 21 years a few years back, what a heart break.
Have a Blessed day

I like it, just finsih doing it the way you have been doing it and the quilt will look beautiful. It's great therapy for you to make this quilt in memory of your fur baby. Now, you'll be able to see your furbaby all the time.

I like it just the way it is! That being said...only keep it this way if in fact you are truly okay with it. Yes, it will take extra time and effort to go for another effect but do it because that's what would make you happiest with this. When you're doing something out of love and to honor someone you love, you want to make sure it's YOU that's happiest with it! My heart goes out to you, so sorry about your loss.

I like the quilt - what is the shadow effect you are talking about - the quilt looks great to me!

Was your baby a Ragdoll?

I'm sorry you have had a loss - they are part of our family and it is hard when they are gone.

So sorry to hear you lost your kitty. I am also a cat lover and have lost several wonderful cats. I think however you decide to finish it, it will be a wonder quilt to remember your kitty.
