I have an idea! Make one for yourself and do a tute while you're making it!The tute will give you excuse to make it. It's lovely!

Very pretty! I see why you don't want to part with it. But making a tute is a good reason to make another and let us see how you did it!!!

Good Idea!

That's a BEAUTIFUL decoration and a WONDERFUL present for 'someone who has everything'. KWIM? Thanks for the idea!

I made a very simple crazy patch heart out of cotton fabric and no decorative stitches YEARS ago at a local library. It's still hanging on our bedroom door. I wanted to try this 'quilting' stuff.

Remembering now -
Back then we cut out templates of the pieces and sewed them together making sure to match the ends.
Now we do flip and sew and achieve the same effect with no thinking involved. LOL :)

That is very nice!! If you give it to her, she'll absolutely love it. One question though, is your name Joyce also?

I usually make two of everything so I can keep one and give the other away. Otherwise I always have those pangs of jealousy that I want to keep it!!!

That is just beautiful. Such wonderful stitching. It looks Victorian. I'm betting she is going to love it. Thanks for sharing.
