I was early for a haircut, so I stumbled into a sewing machine shop next door. There was a Baby Lock Crown Jewel III on a Momentum frame for sale on consignment. It had fewer than 1,000,000 stitches on it, so it was practically brand new, even though it was probably 8 to 10 years old. The machine head looked exactly like my Tiara, except the throat was wider, so it looked familiar to me. It also came with QCT software. I was not in the market for a longarm, but the price was irresistible. I bought it and sold my Tiara. I had to purchase a new tablet to run the software, and I had to install a new circuit board to run the latest version of the software. I spent hours on line and on the phone figuring out how to operate the frame, the machine and the software. I used some quite colorful language while watching YouTube videos. I cannot praise the Grace Company (they sell the software program QCT) enough for their incredible customer service. They were wonderful. All said, I'm enjoying the quilting process immensely. I've already put over 1,000,000 stitches on the machine myself.
