Default How Would You Quilt This?

I made this wall hanging, but have no idea how to quilt it, considering the beautiful gold swirls throughout the main, green fabric. I really think the fabric is so pretty and don't want to cover up the beautiful design too much. I saw this, made with the same fabrics, at my LQS, but they did not quilt it at all. I don't think I want to do that, though, because wall hangings tend to sag if they're not quilted enough. What do you think?

Ok ... here's an idea. SITD around the diamonds. For the background ... how about horizontal line work with wavy lines? Just a series of matched waves from top to bottom (except don't bring the wave through the center design).

    Hmmm ...

I'll try to draw it out.

OK ... it's the white lines - only neater cause I really can't draw with a mouse

By looking at picture, I would use a signature thread, color wheat, it is always perfect for fabrics with the gold, and I would either quilt the swirls like in green fabric or do an allover feather like someone mentioned earlier. Very pretty quilt.
